Description 

The Bodie Island Lighthouse is currently undergoing a major resoration project. The exterior and interior of the tower have scaffolding to allow workers access to all parts of the building. The Bodie Island Visitor Center, bookstore and marsh boardwalk in the area are all open during renovations.
