Description
The San Mateo County Courthouse has the largest stained-glass dome in the county. Although most of the building was rebuilt following the 1906 earthquake, the dome remains from the original 1904 structure. The front facade dates from 1933, but the rich interior from the 1906 structure survives. -- Historic American Buildings Survey
