Description

The church is probably the best preserved of the 18th century Spanish Colonial churches in New Mexico. Historical documentation on the structure is relatively complete, and the edifice has not been "modernized" as have most of the other parish or mission churches of the area. -- Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS NM-61)
