Description 

This lock is on a section of the Ohio & Erie Canal between Akron & Cleveland, which once connected Lake Erie at Cleveland with the Ohio River at Portsmouth. It is located within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The lock was later included in the Boston Mills Historic District.
