Description

This building is one of the oldest existing monumental structures in Mobile and is a good example of the Greek Revival style. Not only is this structure one of the earliest buildings in Mobile (1843) still existing, but is also a good example of a very limited number of monumental Classical Revival buildings in the city. -- Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS AL-781)
