Description

The loss of this landmark to fire was instrumental in the review of service agreements between city and county fire departments and instituting enhanced training programs for volunteer firefighters in the Bowling Green/Warren county area. The agreements that existed at the time limited the city FD's response, and the fire was beyond the capability of the volunteer FD to control.
