Description
A small late-18th century plantation, with little-changed dependencies, lanes, and field divisions. The main house exemplifies the moderately-sized Georgian brick farmhouse and the persistence of Early Georgian architectural traditions in colonial Delaware. A frame wing may predate the main brick portion of the house. Private residence. -- National Historic Landmark statement of significance, April 15, 1970
