Description

An early work of the Boston architects, Fehmer and Emerson, this house is exceptional for its interior decoration in the Pompeian style. Irregular in shape, the house is excellently adapted for summer living along the shore. The surrounding open porches further establish the relationship to the sea. -- Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS RI-345)
