Description

Jacob Wentz a native of Germany purchased the property in 1847. Caroline Wentz received the deed to the property on the same date. The relationship between the two is not known. The house is made of random ashlar and yellow-brown sandstone. It is a good example of the Greek revival style as it appeared in the Midwest.
