Description 

Designed late in the architect's career, Fallingwater exemplifies Frank Lloyd Wright's conception of integrating buildings and their sites. Completed in 1937, it was commissioned by Pittsburgh retailers Edgar J. and Lillian S. Kaufmann. -- Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS PA-5346)
