This house was the home of Benjamin Husbands Moor, Jr. (1878-1968) and his wife, Emma Cooper Moor (1880-1960); both, 10th generation Delawareans. Ben & Emma lived here from 1939, with their three children and five grandchildren. Their youngest son, Robert Cooper Moor, Sr. (1923-1983) went on to be a three term Mayor of the nearest municipality, Middletown, Delaware, (1960-1968).
