Thornton Plantation
Posted April 6, 2018, by Christa (analytigal [at] bellsouth [dot] net)

I am looking for a list of owners from the first through the 1940s as I am searching to see if this was the site of my ancestor's plantation. His name was Isham Meadows b. 1740 and all I can find is he was buried on his plantation in Harris County, GA. It mentioned the town of Hamilton but this was the only plantation in Harris County I've found.,Any info or where I might look further I would greatly appreciate it as I do my genealogy.

Thank you!
