This gate, to Crown Hill Cemetery, stands at 34th Street and Boulevard Place. It was built in 1885. It's construction was hurried up, so that it would be completed for the funeral procession of U. S. Vice President Thomas A. Hendricks who died on November 25, 1885. Hendricks was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery on November 30, 1885.
