Former springhead on Alexandria Pike (US 27)

Not much out there, but I did find a mention of it in a history of Ft. Thomas. "Robson Spring, on Alexandria Pike, is a surviving mineral spring used regularly in the 1920s and used by many for drinking water during the Flood of 1937." Until about 30 years ago the water still flowed out of a pipe in the water works that stands next to the springhead. People would come in station wagons and fill jugs of water, and we would stop by for a drink on the way to and from the Midway district when we were kids.
I would like to know the history Of Robson Springs
