I bet the citizens of Gotham City are in great distress over the closing of the Bat Cave.

Went here many times as a kid, one of those times actually visiting the caves themselves. Nowadays a few of the caves are closed indefinitely due to the threat of a rare bat disease called white nose syndrome. Only 5 caves (the commercial Cascade Cave and X-Cave, and the "wild" Laurel Cave, Horn Hollow Caves and Rimstone Cave) are currently open to the public. Additionally, Laurel Cave is only open during the summer months.

The caves currently closed off include the Saltpeter Cave and the Bat Cave.
