Description

fire house at Thomas Street and Culbertson Avenue was opened in April 1913, to help cover the eastern part of the city. The architectural style of the building is Beaux-Arts. It served as a fire station until 1969, and was sold at a later date (the info I have does not specify when). No specific info is included about Skippy either, who I would assume was a firehouse dog.
