The Valley 6 Drive-In opened in 1968 and had at one point a capacity of 3,000 cars. Its origins lie with United Drive-Ins and the Pacific/Forman chains of California. In its later years it operated with five screens as a storm destroyed one and the owners never fixed it. Currently they are holding onto hopes that the economy will recover enough so they can develop the property. A Home Depot was proposed at one time, a shopping centre another. There seem to be many plans but never any action on them, meanwhile things deteriorate.
