This four-story red brick building is located at 216-218 N. 4th in St. Joseph, Mo.
"This building is four stories high on a stone foundation. Over the central, front entrance there is a two-story, semi-hexagonal bay window topped by a scrolled iron railing at the fourth story level. Terra cotta inset panels ornament the spandrels and the pilasters. An ornate pressed metal entablature separates the third and fourth stories and the building is topped with an ornate pressed metal entablature which has end brackets at its north and south ends and in between mouldings of smallbrackets, small brackets, sunbursts, dentils and corbeling."
