Posted May 24, 2018, by Bill watkins (Mr bwatkins [at] gmail [dot] com)

I was 11 years old @ time of crash. My uncle Henry "Rat" Lee lived in the area of crash on Stump house mtn. my uncle Rufus Lee lived in Walhalla and we were visiting him one night up town when a truck came through town hauling the fuselage of the plane. I always heard that the engines were too difficult to recover and were left @ crash site ???
