A 19th century gristmill, ca. 1830's; the only stone mill in Connecticut. Operated as a museum and open on Sundays, May through October.

My first visit to this mill was on May 3, 1980, when I and other members of the Southern New England Chapter, S.I.A. met to clean out the wheelpit of trash and lumber. The Joshua Tract had recently purchased the building, and were planning a restoration before opening it as a museum.
