The Beverly Hills Civic Center was designed by Charles Moore in a mixture of Spanish Revival, Art Deco and Post-Modern styles. It includes courtyards, colonnades, promenades, and buildings, with both open and semi-enclosed spaces, stairways and balconies. Dedicated in 1990, the Beverly Hills Civic Center dramatically expands on City Hall's Spanish Renaissance architecture. Curved colonnades frame the approaches to the renovated and expanded City Hall, library and police and fire departments.
