This three story brick building designed by architect Elmer H. Fisher was built in 1889 at a cost of $25,000. The upper floors were offices and furnished rooms. Nathaniel Davis Hill sold drugs, cigars, china and glassware from a store on the ground floor from 1890 to 1928. A tavern occupied the corner storefront from approximately 1933 to 2010 and a residential hotel, the Deville, the top floors.
