Engine Company No.27
52 Waller Street, San Francisco, CA
This one story brick building was originally used to store fire fighting equipment and supplies. In 1893, it was converted to a stable for the horses of Engine Company 19. The building survived the 1906 Earthquake and Fire with minor damage.
Engine Company 19 was disbanded in 1916 and the building was turned over to Engine Company No. 27 with their 1914 American LaFrance Type 21 steam engine. Auxiliary Engine Company 6 was assigned here as well in 1942.
Engine Companies 6 and 27 moved to new quarters on Sanchez Street in 1950 and the building was sold at public auction.
