The Mueller Hotel is a three story structure with lodging on the upper floors and a saloon on the ground floor. The bar was originally known as the Milwaukee Tavern when it opened in 1916. The Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul & Pacific Railroad's depot open across Montana Street in the same year hence the name of the bar.
