I've been a history-buff most of my life. I thoroughly enjoy old architecture and am always saddened whenever an old building is demolished rather than renovated. I came upon this website quite by accident while researching an 1854 home in Monticello, MN. I'd gone to visit the outside of the house, and felt dismayed by the deteriorating condition of a house that is a registered landmark. (Especially when it is located in the small town in which I grew up, Kasota, MN.) I am also a published author of the book BAD RAP, The Truth About the Tragically Misunderstood Pit Bull, and have an interest in doing some writing about historical landmarks. Thank you for having me on this site! Warm regards, ~JC Fredlund
