Description
This Georgian courthouse has been used continuously since its completion around 1735. It was here that, in 1763, Patrick Henry argued and won THE PARSON'S CAUSE, a case involving religious liberty in the Colony. -- National Historic Landmark statement of significance, November 7, 1973
