Description 

Originally part of a summer property known as The Clearing, the Jens Jensen studio and surrounding landscape was the working and living laboratory of the man now considered the dean of the Prairie style of landscape architecture. The property is important for its association with Jens Jensen, and has significance in the history of American landscape architecture.
