Description 

Originally constructed in 1898 as the Bank of Lafayette, it was sold to the City of Lafayette in 1906 for use as a City Hall and became the first structure in the City to be placed on the National Register of Historic Places. -- Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS LA-1154)
