Description

Built in the mid-19th century, the house was purchased in 1908 by Joseph Tilford Noland and Margaret Ellen Truman Noland, aunt and uncle of Harry S. Truman. It was later owned by their granddaughter, Ardis Ragland Haukenberry. The house is located directly across from the Truman home. The 2-story Victorian house, of woodframe construction with clapboard siding, has been expanded over the years... -- Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS MO-1911)
