Welcome to Warren

On the Stagecoach Trail. Warren was a stop at the crossing of two major stagecoach lines, one from Chicago to Galena and one from St. Louis to Wiota, Wisconsin, location of lead smelting operations. Warren is very close to the Wisconsin border.
