Located on the north bank of the Blackstone River, this part of the Valley Falls Mill complex was demolished in 1934, having closed a few years before. The site was developed into a park in 1993-1995. Interpretive signs provide information about the remains. The park is also the new home for the Shea Bridge, an 1886 lenticular truss bridge formerly in the town of Smithfield, R.I.
