The Butte Carpentersí Union, Local #112 chartered in 1890, financed the construction of this Renaissance Revival style labor temple designed by N. T. Nelson. It was completed in 1906 and housed the offices of the Iron Workers, Steel Metal Workers, Clerks, Boilermakers and Women's Protective Unions as well as the Carpenters.
