Stadium Bowl is a 15,000-seat high school athletic stadium built in 1910. The stadium, designed by architect Frederick Heath, was constructed by excavating 180,000 cubic yards of soil from the surrounding gulch and casting concrete rows of seating which originally held 32,000 spectators. The Bowl has hosted concerts and events for Louis Armstrong, John Pershing, Marshal Foch, Babe Ruth, Billy Sunday, William Jennings Bryan, and United States Presidents Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and Warren Harding.
