Interlocking tower that controlled the crossing of the New York Central's St. Louis - Paris line and the Illinois Central's Freeburg - Centralia Charter Line. Conrail abandoned the NYC in 1983 and IC abandoned the Charter Line in 1986, rendering the tower unnecessary. It has since been preserved and restored.
